Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Quinceañera celebration at the Triple Down

In honor of their latest album release Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are throwing a Quinceañera party at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas on Sunday, August 25th from 4 pm - 6 pm. There is only one way to get into this party and that’s by getting on The LIST...and the ONLY way to get on the list is to come to their show at The Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 24th. Get your tickets here! Run (don’t walk) on over to the merch table and be one of the first 75 people to ask the guy in the MJ Jacket to put you on the list! Your guest list spot not only gets you into the Gimmes’ Quinceañera party at The Triple Down Bar, but also a GA museum ticket for The Punk Rock Museum on that day.

The museum will even be offering a specially guided tour that very afternoon with triple-threat, Dez Cadena (Black Flag), Pinch (The Damned), and Jake Kiley (Strung Out) sharing their unique perspectives on the photos, videos, ephemera, etc. contained within. (The tour costs extra, but will be well worth the price!) Get your tour guide ticket here. The fiesta starts at 4 pm with DJ Uterus AKA Spice Slawson. Don't miss your chance to party with the Gimmes in Las Vegas!

Neon Lights exhibition opening

The Punk Rock Museum presents a group art show on counter culture. Images that trigger the sublime and the subversive just like the music we preserve. Neon Lights is a group exhibition that evokes memories of our shared history. A history of universal experience, we all enjoy the same neon lights of Las Vegas. Just as we have enjoyed the same lights from the concerts we have attended from either the stage or the audience. This show features eclectic artists that through their work evoke memories attracting a viewer seemingly distanced from the punk rock world, yet they still remain firmly rooted in our shared community.

Dave Scott Schwartzman - Adrenalin OD - Guided Tours

Formed in New Jersey in 1981, Adrenalin O.D. paved their own path through the American hardcore punk scene of the ‘80s. They were one of the fastest and funniest bands of the genre, bringing a much needed sense of humor to a very serious and angst-filled era. Their songs dealt with the suburban experience while adding an injection of wise-ass sarcasm. As fast as their songs blazed, they somehow managed to still be melodic. Live, the band’s onstage chemistry turned shows into what has been called a cross between Minor Threat and Don Rickles. Dave will be giving two guided tours on January 12th at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
