Coming January 2025!

Join The Punk Rock Museum on January 25, 2025, when we welcome the opening of the exhibit Saint Vitus Bar: The First Ten Years: Photos from Brooklyn's Most Beloved Institution by Nathaniel Shannon

Opening Night features an Artist Discussion with Walter Schreifels (Quicksand, Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits) and photographer Nathaniel Shannon, and Moderated by Dan Ozzi (author SELL OUT). Conversation starts at 5pm. Don't be late! As these legends have plenty of tea to spill!

"Saint Vitus was, without question, New York's most important music institution of the last decade. It deserves the highest caliber of documentation, and that's what Nathaniel Shannon delivered with this book. I owe so much of my life and my career to Vitus, and I am reminded of that every time I turn the page." - Dan Ozzi.

The Punk Rock Museum is excited to announce an exclusive limited edition of the Saint Vitus Bar: The First Ten Years available for purchase in The Shop at the event. Walter Schreifels will also be a Tour Guide at The Punk Rock Museum on January 25 & 26. Buy your tickets today!

Some Highlights of 2024:

In just one year, the City of Las Vegas has embraced us in a big way, with Mayor Goodman officially declaring our anniversary, April 1st Punk Rock Day! The city is eager to invest in our district, envisioning it as a vibrant destination for both tourists and locals. They supported transforming our parking lot into a plaza, allowing us to host events and shows anytime.

We've drawn global media attention, including a six-page feature in the New York Times , and  USA Today recognized us as the 3rd best new museum in America! Throughout the year, we’ve welcomed an impressive lineup of tour guides and bands rocking in the Pennywise Garage, while our artifact collection continues to grow and evolve.

Throughout the year we have kicked off each month with a Free Locals Day, where we partner with local charities and community groups to highlight their impactful work. Our markets in the plaza bring together local businesses to showcase their wares, creating a lively community space.

This past year has been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve accomplished. With exciting plans for 2025, we’re just getting started. None of this would be possible without the support of the local Vegas community, everyone who visited and contributed to the museum—thank you all for making this dream a reality!
