May 24th-27th - Guided tours with John Reis and Swami And The Bed Of Nails release party!
Swami and the Bed of Nails featuring Swami John Reis (Hot Snakes, Drive Like
Jehu, Rocket From The Crypt, PLOSIVS and more) is pleased to present a new single (coming out on Swami Records/BMG) titled “Privacy”.It was recorded by Reis at City Of Refuge as well as by Ben Moore at Singing Serpent. “Privacy” is buzzsaw, symphonic, punk rock ‘n’ roll. Breakneck lurching guitars grind against a Dickies-esque melody yet in a more full frontal, garage palette. John has a bunch of things planned around his tours at The Punk Rock Museum including a listening party debuting the new record, DJing at the Triple Down (bar in the museum), and some surprises in store for anyone who joins him on his guided tours. He will also be selling and signing the “Privacy” 7” at the museum! Buy your tickets for a guided tour with John HERE!
During Punk Rock Bowling there will be a Punk Party Plaza in the parking lot at the museum with fun activities including the Wheel of Misfortune as seen at Punk In Drublic Festival, get a Mohawk provided by Sinister Salon, and "Let's Rock". We are happy to have Girls Rock Vegas taking part! Girls Rock Vegas was founded in 2009 to empower girls through music creation and performance. They are a non-profit local organization and part of the international Girls Rock Camp Alliance. Girls ages 9-17 participate in summer camp and in-school programs that bring girls together in bands, placing guitars, basses, drums, and microphones in their hands, helping them to compose and perform original songs.
May 23rd 7-9 pm- Brooke Smith photography exhibition opening and book signing.
Long before Brooke appeared as Catherine Martin in the iconic The Silence of the Lambs, she was one of the Hardcore punk kids hanging out on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Growing up in Rockland County, just north of New York City, Brooke always felt like an outsider. The Lower East Side, Alphabet City and Tompkins Square park is where she found her family. And she always had her trusty Minolta with her.
This book, like an intimate family album, documents the day-to-day life of Brooke's friends and acquaintances as they create and embody a community around Hardcore music. Brooke went on to become a highly respected actor starring in many films and TV shows. But she never forgot her roots, and the people she still calls her family.
Brooke Smith’s photography exhibition opens on May 23rd and she will be attending to sign copies of her book available to purchase in The Punk Rock Museum’s gift store.
May 28 - May 29 - Gogol Bordello Takeover
Eugene Hutz from Gogol Bordello will be giving guided tours May 28-29.

Scream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story is an intimate portrait of Ukrainian immigrant Eugene Hütz, chronicling the rise of his NYC punk band Gogol Bordello and his defiant return to Ukraine.
The screening will be followed by Q & A with Eugene Hutz and Sergey Ryabtsev. There will be an afterparty with DJ HUTZ and a new progressive art punk band from NYC Mary Shelley, performing a new single out on Casa Gogol Records.
